How to become a BLS Instructor?

Currently hold an AHA BLS Provider

Certification Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials Course at elearning.heart.org

Step2

BLS Instructor

Register & Complete the Classroom BLS Instructor Course

Step3

BLS Instructor step3

Set-Up your own BLS Instructor-Led Course and complete an Instructor Monitoring, within 30 days after the Instructor Course.

  • $250 Per Applicant

Applicant Prerequisites

  • 21 Years of Age, Training Site Requirement Effective March 2019
  • Hold an American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials Course Online
  • Be knowledgeable and skillful in Basic Life Support
